American rapper Snoop Dogg has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle round for Thanksgiving dinner and said the pair would be in for “something special”.
The Duke of Sussex has previously expressed that he is a fan of Snoop, 49, and it looks like the feeling is definitely mutual.
Speaking frankly to The Mirror, the chart topping musician who lives fairly close to the Royal couple in LA shared his support to the couple who became the subject of media attention due to their move to the US.
As a result, Snoop is happy to welcome Harry and his wife Meghan with open arms.
He said: “Him and Meghan are living their lives like they want and that can’t be an easy thing with the whole world judging them.
“They got to live life their way – they get a lot of respect from me for that.”
The rapper then added: “If they want to come over for Thanksgiving dinner they are in for something special. They can come over to Snoop’s crib.”
Speaking about his relationship with Prince Harry and his brother Prince William, the rapper mentioned that he reached out to the lads when he realised that they were fans of his and they’ve been “boys” ever since.
He also said he looks out for Meghan and they can reach out to him whenever they need to.
Another of his close British pals is Gordon Ramsay, who has taught him a few culinary skills in the kitchen.
Although Snoop is well known to fans for his rap career that began in 1992, the star has certainly impressed with his cooking expertise over the years.
Following the success of his Emmy-nominated cookery show with Martha Stewart, Snoop also released his cookbook, From Crook to Cook, in October 2018.
Last year, the cannabis enthusiast told Daily Mail Australia that his favourite food to bake with Martha, 79, is “brownies”.
“We love making gumbo together and also brownies for dessert,” the star confessed.
Snoop Dogg also took part in an advertising campaign for British online food order and delivery service, Just Eat in 2020.
