Tilly Ramsay has provided insight on what it’s like growing up with her father Gordon Ramsay.
The Strictly Come Dancing star will be following in her dad’s footsteps by heading into the kitchen on the new series of Celebrity MasterChef Australia.
But ahead of her appearance on the cooking show, the talented dancer expressed her best memories living with the no-nonsense chef.
Speaking candidly to Body and Soul magazine on Sunday, Tilly, 19, said: “I have so many favourite moments with dad – from learning to cook at age four while he was filming the TV series The F Word, to messing about and filming silly, fun dancing videos.
The Strictly star also mentioned that Gordon’s jokes aren’t as great as some would imagine and said “they’re even worse than the classic dad jokes”.
“He ends up laughing while trying to tell the joke and can’t even finish it. At least he finds himself funny,” she said.
In addition to this, Tilly recalled the fun moments where she played pranks on her dad growing up. Some of her practical jokes can also be seen on her TikTok account.
Previously, while speaking to The Daily Mail, Tilly told the publication that she is very much a “daddy’s girl,” and said Gordon is most definitely “hard on the outside but soft on the inside.”
On Saturday, chef Gordon certainly demonstrated his softer side to fans, when he was seen crying after Tilly’s performance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The father-of-five was seen fighting back the tears as Tilly and her partner Nikita Kuzmin dazzled audiences with their impressive Charleston routine.
After their energetic performance, presenter Tess Daly picked up on the fact that Gordon was teary-eyed and highlighted it to Tilly and viewers.
The presenter said: “Gordon, your dad is crying he shed a little tear.”
Spectators at home were also surprised to see the foul-mouthed chef emotional and took to Twitter to share their views.
One fan said: “Gordon Ramsey was sooo proud of tilly such a cute moment to see.”
Meanwhile another said: “Just like the fabulous @CraigRevHorwood also deep down @GordonRamsay is a BIG softy too. Was lovely to see that side to Gordon. He’s so proud of @tillyramsay and rightly so. FaBuLoUs!!!”
Tilly will make her cooking debut on Australian TV and will hopefully impress the judges and viewers with her culinary skills on MasterChef.
But the young teen, who already has a cook book called Matilda & The Ramsay Bunch: Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover, will undoubtedly shine on the show.
