Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Katya Jones lost a toe nail while rehearsing her upcoming routine with celebrity dance partner Adam Peaty.
The 32-year-old beauty took to her Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon to show off her fresh injury after another gruelling day in the dance studio perfecting her routine ready for movie week.
She penned: “Oops … Lost a nail” as she posted a close-up shot of her bandaged toe ahead of this week’s exciting show.
The Russian choreographer later posted a video of herself as she limped out of the dance studio after another long day of dancing.

Katya and Adam have wowed the judges with their extremely complex dance routines over the past two weeks.
They have yet to reveal what dance they will be performing this week but fans can’t wait to see what they have lined up as they eagerly await Saturday night’s show.
Katya donned a pair of blue and purple yoga pants and matching crop top for her latest dance session which she teamed with a pair of black trainers.

The dancer’s injury comes after Olympic athlete Adam admitted he “understands” how the infamous Strictly curse can strike when couples are dancing so closely together.
The Strictly curse is brought up every year after and refers to when couples hook up after becoming close on the dance floor.
In an interview with The Times, Adam said: “My hips are here, hers are here, and then we do this … You get close. I can see how it happens,” while demonstrating an intimate dance manoeuvre.

Katya recently fell victim to the Strictly curse after she was spotted kissing her celebrity dance partner Seann Walsh back in 2018.
Adam is in a relationship with artist Eiri, who he met on Tinder at the beginning of 2020 and within months were expecting their son, George.
He told the publication: “Obviously it wasn’t planned. I got the call in Australia, with her crying. I was like, ‘OK, this is going to change my life forever.’
“I was like, ‘I’m not prepared to be a father.’ I’m very selfish. I’m an athlete. The best athletes in the world have to look after themselves first.
“I’ve never been able to stay in a relationship because my sport is so demanding.”
