George and Amal Clooney certainly gathered attention as they strutted down the red carpet at the London Film Festival.
The Hollywood powerhouse pair made a show-stopping appearance alongside a string on celebs as George, 60, showcases his latest directorial project.
Amal, 43, turned heads in a white sequin-embellished gown with ruching at the waist and a matching feather boa by 16Arlington.
The human rights lawyer sported a cranberry-tone lipstick and wore her dark brown hair in a side part with loose waves. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings and classic white pumps.
And the stunning star couldn’t keep her eyes off her hunky husband, who looked sharp in a classic black suit and tie.
Clooney, who directs Ben Affleck in the coming-of-age drama, will see his film hitting theatres on Dec. 18 and streaming on Amazon Prime Video Jan 7.
The Tender Bar marks Clooney’s eighth director project and a reunion with Affleck, whom he worked with on 2012’s Argo.
“He’s such a good actor, first and foremost, and obviously he’s a wonderful director,” Clooney said of Affleck in an interview with People.
“We’re friends and we trust each other so it was really easy. There wasn’t any pushing or pulling. Just show up and get the job done.”
The stunning pair, who married in 2014 and share four-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, only had eyes for one another at The Royal Festival Hall as they gazed into each other’s eyes, shared a kiss, and leaned their heads together to share some private words.
In an interview with BBC over the weekend, George Clooney said he’s taking on fewer projects to focus on his life and family since turning 60.
“In 20 years, I will be 80, and that’s a real number. Doesn’t matter how much you work out, what you eat, you’re 80 and so I said we have to make sure we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”
The pair recently discussed their experience parenting their twins over the pandemic with Entertainment Tonight, revealing: “It was fine. You just feel so bad for the world and all of that, you know? But our kids are four and they were two and a half when it started so you know, they weren’t missing out on much out in the world.”
Amal added that her husband has been “great” at teaching their kids a certain set of skills.
“He’s mainly teaching pranks for the time being,” she quipped. “But we’ll see if it develops.”
George interjected, “Well, I think those can really pay off over time.”
