Mick Jagger crashes bachelorette party for karaoke fun on Rolling Stones tour

Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger says he crashed a bachelorette party in Nashville and sang karaoke during the band’s No Filter tour.

The 78-year-old singer told his audience at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday that he visited some of Music City’s local haunts the previous day after a chance encounter with the bachelorette party.

“I went to Printers Alley and sang Honky Tonk Women in a karaoke bar,” Jagger said onstage, according to USA Today.

“I crashed a bachelorette party on a pedal tavern. They loved my Goo Goo Clusters. We all ended up at the Wild Beaver riding a mechanical bull.”

This isn’t the first undercover adventure for the Paint it Black hitmaker.

Jagger reportedly “went unnoticed” during a recent stop at a North Carolina bar called the Thirsty Beaver.

Jagger snapped a picture on the patio of the watering hole, flanked by several people who had no idea who he was.

After the photo went viral, Thirsty Beaver co-owner Brian Wilson said: “I went through the credit card receipts to see if I had a Mick Jagger signature anywhere.

“That would have gone up on the wall.”

Jagger has been documenting his Nashville adventures on social media, tweeting a series of snaps that show him admiring the city’s scenic woodlands on Friday.

The Connection singer sported a casually hip wardrobe of joggers, a half-unbuttoned shirt and a baseball cap as he admired some deer in the woods and posed in front of a landfill with a bemused look on his face.

He also shared a video montage of himself walking through downtown Nashville and posed in front of the Nissan stadium ahead of his performance.

The set list included the band’s biggest hits like Miss You, Paint It Black, and Gimme Shelter, along with the Chi-Lites classic Trouble’s a-Comin’ and the Stones’ 1971 ballad Dead Flowers, which was selected by fans via an online vote.

The biggest surprise came midway through the night, when Keith Richards took over on lead vocals.

“Great to be back,” he told the crowd. “It’s great to be anywhere. Here, blessings on us all. Gold rings on all of us. I’m going to start off on something I haven’t done in years. This should be fun.”

The band’s drummer Charlie Watts was laid to rest at a secret funeral in the UK last month, with even his rock-legend bandmates forced to skip it because of Covid-19 restrictions.

The famed rhythm man’s family organised a secret funeral in Devon for the beloved rocker, who died aged 80 on August 24, just weeks after pulling out of the Stones’ US tour.
