The Chase beauty distracts flustered ITV viewers as she goes up against Darragh Ennis

The Chase fans were left rooting for a ‘stunning’ contestant as she faced off with Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.

Wednesday’s show welcomed 33-year-old project manager officer Lynsey from Winchester.

She and her fellow teammates faced off against the Irish quizzer, with Lynsey the third contestant stepping up for her solo chase.

As well as being impressed by her quizzing skills, The Chase viewers were also taken aback by Lynsey’s ‘stunning’ appearance and took to Twitter to share their admiration.

One viewer wrote: “Oh hello Lynsey,” while another cheeky viewer commented: “Just moving to Winchester.”

Another said: “Lynsey is a stunner – be still my beating heart.”

Meanwhile, another commented: “Lynsey is the bee’s knees.”

Lynsey opted for the middle offer in her solo chase after securing £5,000 in her own cash builder round.

After narrowly surviving being caught, she made it home for the final chase alongside two of her fellow teammates, Sarah and Paul.

The group were playing for £11,000 in total, with Sarah securing £1,000 in her solo run for the team, while Paul also brought in £5,000.

After securing a total of 16 points, it was up to chaser Darragh to catch the team and prevent them winning the pot, but he epically failed.

Darragh answered eight questions wrongly and the team executed five pushbacks successfully, meaning that the chaser only secured 11 of the 17 points he needed to catch the team.

After the win, Lynsey said: “My garden’s going to look delightful.”

Meanwhile, Sarah pledged to spend her winnings on a pair of designer shoes and a handbag, while Paul vowed to take his wife on a cruise.

Speaking after his defeat, Darragh said: “They did very well in that final chase. I got quite a few wrong but they knew pushbacks.”

“They did indeed,” The Chase host Bradley Walsh concluded.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
