Perrie Edwards is reportedly planning on reinventing herself as a lifestyle guru after news broke that Little Mix plan to split up.
The 28-year-old pop star is preparing to launch her own lifestyle brand to rival that of Gwyneth Paltrow and her brand Goop within the next few days.
The Sun reports that Perrie has spent more than two years secretly working on a luxury brand called Disora, and is expected to sell jewellery, clothing and cosmetics.
The singer is reportedly shelving her music career for the time being, as she has filed a trademark application to cover a huge range of items.
Speaking to the publication, an inside source explained: “Music is Perrie’s first love and by no means has she ruled out doing solo songs in the future.
“But she is keen to do other things too and knows there is a huge market for women in their twenties and thirties who want a little bit of luxury in their lives.”
“Perrie came up with the idea a few years ago and spent a lot of time working on it during her down time from Little Mix in lockdown. She is launching it in the coming day.
“It will be the first big project she has undertaken since having her son Axel in August.”
It will be up against competition from Goop and the recently launched brand Wylde Moon by Holly Willoughby.
It comes after reports emerged that Little Mix are going to announce their split in the coming days, as Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 30, and Jade Thirlwall prepare to launch solo careers after their upcoming tour ends.
A source said on Saturday: “There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Little Mix but it is now very clear that the end of the road has been reached.
“A date is set to announce the split. The upcoming tour is going to be a farewell to their fans.”
The group will reportedly break the sad news to their fans next month, with their upcoming The Confetti Tour expected to be their swan song.
