The panel of Loose Women slammed the upcoming Channel 4 documentary, Breastfeeding My Boyfriend, as they criticised the programme for being “wrong on so many levels”.
Panellists Kaye Adams, Linda Robson, Jane Moore and Sunetra Sarker all discussed the weird programme and watched a clip of it on the show.
Viewers of the daytime show saw the hosts squirm in their seats while watching the clip of the woman breastfeeding her partner.
After watching the clip, host Kaye Adams said: “It was like a 28-year-old baby breastfeed.”
Sunetra then said: “This is wrong on so many levels.
“How much content do they have to make a full television programme for starters? it makes me feel uncomfortable I can’t believe it’s a thing.”
Channel 4 have come under fire for labelling it breastfeeding – when in reality this is just sexualising not
Jane Moore then cut in to say: “Also, this is nothing to do with feeding, he can go order a takeaway if he’s hungry. This is probably what I take exception to is the use of the term ‘breastfeeding.'”
“Go and get a Big Mac and chips mate if you are really hungry.”
Later in the conversation, the Loose Women ladies then revealed times they had tasted breast milk, with Linda saying she had “breast milk ice cream once it was delicious”.
Kaye then replied and said: “I had to drink my own at an airport once because you weren’t meant to take it through – it wasn’t very nice.”
This comes after viewers of the show were disappointed on Wednesday to find the show is dropped from ITV’s schedule.
Speaking to viewers at the end of Tuesday’s show host Christine Lampard announced: “Thank you so much for your company today.
“We’re not going to be here tomorrow because of the Budget but we’re back on Thursday for more lunchtime laughs, see you then!”
The debate show has been bumped from the air on ITV today to make way for Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s Autumn budget for 2021 to be discussed.
