Heidi Klum has cemented herself as one of Hollywood’s most dedicated celebrators of Halloween.
Since she first unveiled her talent for the spooky, quirky and macabre, the 48-year-old has showcased some mind-blowing costumes to rival her most iconic runway looks.
The earliest of these stretches back over two decades, with Heidi’s appearance as a dominatrix at her first-ever spooktacular Halloween bash in 2000.
Klum’s outrageous get-ups have included 2001 Lady Godiva, 2002 Betty Boop, 2003 Golden Girl, 2009 crow, 2011 ape, 2012 Cleopatra, 2013 Old lady, 2017 Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and 2019 firework.
Moving past the flops and honourable mentions, Daily Star gets stuck into this talented gal’s top-drawer fancy dress as she’s no doubt preparing for her 2021 look.
Heidi Klum (2016)
Heidi stole the show back in 2016 where she recreated her famous Victoria’s Secret career by hiring a group of doppelgangers to strut their stuff in racy lingerie.
The blonde bombshell looked gorgeous as she struck a pose with her lookalikes, stealing the show as she posed in a nude bodysuit and matching boots.
It was certainly a creative idea, and fans and magazines loved it.
Mummies (2020)
The mum-of-four couldn’t host her annual Halloween bash thanks to lockdown, but that wasn’t going to quash this dress-up addict’s big plans.
As she stealthily passed herself off as a wall and bed sheets in body paint, her husband and kids were swathed from top to bottom in metres of linen to deliver their best mummies.
With the addition of some pretty terrifying masks, it was definitely mission accomplished as the family filmed a short Halloween flick.
Speaking to Vogue, Heidi said: “We had so much fun shooting this together. My kids learned so much in these two days of filming about how some tricks work, how to move and act like mummies, how to remember their lines and cues”.
Alien (2019)
The supermodel teamed up with husband Tom Kaulitz for this otherworldly rig-out, and the outcome was as gruesome as can be.
Every detail of the ensemble was super impressive, and it was clear a lot of thought had gone into perfecting the hideous creature.
Heidi confirmed it had, revealing that over 10 gruelling hours had gone into putting it all together, including body paint and prosthetics.
Shrek’s Fiona (2018)
As Heidi got herself ready for this year’s bash, she swung by social media with a cheeky glimpse of her costume.
Her followers took stabs at who she might be, with guesses including George Washington and Star Wars’ Gungan.
But they were proved wrong when the stunner made her entrance as Fiona from Shrek – hand in-hand with Tom as none other than Shrek himself.
Jessica Rabbit (2015)
Heidi is renowned as a genuine knockout, but she’s usually no match for Who Framed Roger Rabbit’s villainous femme fatale Jessica Rabbit.
This year she was though, turning up as animations most famous sex symbol, known for the iconic line: “I’m not bad – I’m just drawn that way”.
The model used prosthetics and make-up to achieve this glossy cartoon look, and she looked out of this world.
Butterfly (2014)
Heidi really outdid herself in 2014 when she showed up as this beautiful, kaleidoscopic butterfly.
We weren’t there, but no doubt she was knocking over drinks left, right and centre with that massive wingspan.
The superstar made a real entrance too, causing quite the stir as she shunned a flash limo and made her way to the NYC bash by street past crowds of gobsmacked onlookers.
Robot (2010)
Heidi delivered what has to be one of her most committed outfits in 2010: a shiny red and purple robot, complete with all the mechanical details you might expect of a droid.
As one of the world’s best-known models, she’s used to strutting down the runway in sky-high heels, but the clunky footwear in this outfit made 10-inch stilettos look like kitten heels.
Hindu Goddess (2008)
Nestled between two of her less inspired looks (cat and crow), Heidi went for a culturally rich Hindu Goddess costume complete with arms poking out in all directions.
It wasn’t just any Hindu Goddess though, but rather Kali the Goddess of Death, Time and Doomsday – a strong mother figure just like the mum-of-four herself.
Looking back at this one, it’s a little reminiscent of the sorry state in which Abbey Lee’s character Chrystal ends up in recent horror movie Old.
