Katie Price could face repossession order for £1.35million 'mucky' mansion

Katie Price could be hit with a repossession order for her £1.35million home – dubbed “mucky” mansion – after failing to repay debts, according to reports.

The star, who was declared bankrupt in 2019, has failed to repay more than £500,000 worth of debt against the property.

Now Katie, 43, could lose her home if she cannot pay back what she owes to debtors before a repossession hearing, according to The Sun.

The publication reports that, according to a Land Registry search, Katie owes money to Kensington Mortgage Company as well as solicitor Archerfield Partners LLP.

“Katie has failed to pay back the money she owes and her mortgage company had no option but to issue this order,” a source claimed.

“She was due to appear at a repossession hearing this week, but it will now most likely be rescheduled for a date in January.”

This is one more thing for the mum-of-five to deal with in what has been a difficult year.

In September, she pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance after flipping her BMW.

She was not immediately given a jail sentence, though had to enter The Priory rehabilitation centre as part of an agreement for her sentencing to be deferred until December.

Katie was also told that she would be banned from driving and would have to speak to the probation service to prepare a report.

Chair of the Bench Julie Hutton told Katie she was free to go to The Priory, but added: “We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified.”

Her sentencing hearing has been set for December 15.

Katie and Harvey were nominated for a National Television Award earlier this year

This year hasn’t all been bad for the former glamour model though, as she invited fans in for a closer look at her bond with eldest son Harvey Price.

The duo fronted a documentary back in January – Harvey and Me – which saw the two of them adjusting as Harvey got older and gained a bit more independence.

The mum and son pair later stepped onto the red carpet at the National Television Awards in September, as the documentary was nominated for a gong.

They sadly lost out to Kate Garraway and her documentary on her husband Derek Draper’s Covid battle.

Daily Star has contacted a rep for Katie Price for comment.
