Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford is no stranger to an unusual message in her DMs, particularly when it’s penned from an older man.
The beauty has a habit of ignoring the unusual messages, but she confessed it’s one of the few downsides of coming out of the villa.
Speaking to Daily Star following her collaboration with I Saw It First, Lucinda admitted that she had fully prepared herself for going in the villa, so not too much has shocked her since she left.
She said: “There’s not much I don’t like, except when people recognise me and I haven’t got any makeup on! Of course, the trolls aren’t great.
“I expected most things to happen, but the weirdest thing is getting the weird elderly man that try to hit it up in those message requests – those sugar daddy messages – I feel like everyone has them crop up.
“Obviously I ignore them and I don’t reply. I am quite closed when it comes to replying back to random people like that.”
Luckily for Lucinda, aside from her unusual DM requests, she said that everyone else that she’s met has been incredibly kind.
Lucinda, who recently collaborated with I Saw It First as part of her first project since she left the villa, has said that working with the fashion brand was “crazy” for her.
She said: “Finding out about the collaboration was a pinch me moment really. I feel like I’m living the dream at the moment.
“It’s so surreal that even my mum gets messages from her friends to say they saw me on a TV advert, to even think about getting any bigger than this feels insane.”
It’s only been a few months since Lucinda came out of Love Island, and although she’s said she’s not planning on heading on another dating show anytime soon, she hasn’t ruled out TV altogether, confessing she would love to be the first Islander to go on I’m A Celeb.
She said: “I’d love to do I’m A Celeb, but I don’t think I’d be very good at it. I hate bugs, I’m terrified of snakes, but you never know!”
Instead, she has teased that there are multiple projects coming up, but Lucinda is remaining incredibly tight-lipped regarding her next steps for now.
Lucinda has collaborated with ISAWITFIRST on a range ideal for taking you from AM to PM with prices ranging from £22 – £100, available now.
