Carol Vorderman, 60, shows off ageless curves in skintight grey dress for throwback snap

Carol Vorderman, 60, looked stunning as she poured her ageless curves into a skintight grey gown for a throwback snap at Cambridge University.

The Cambridge graduate was celebrating being awarded an Honorary Fellowship from the iconic educational institute and looked suitably glammed up for the occasion.

Carol’s stunning gown fell just to her knees and featured a plunging neckline and sweet short sleeves.

With her brunette tresses falling in gentle waves down past her shoulders, Carol was grinning as she looked away from the camera for a candid snap.

The dress hugged her ageless figure effortlessly, and Carol matched the frock with a pair of simple black heeled sandals.

Carol looked ageless as ever

Captioning the post on Instagram, Carol wrote: “Proud to have just received an Honorary Fellowship from the Institute of Engineering and Technology IET.

“I graduated with a Masters degree in Engineering from @cambridgeuniversity many moons ago and have done my best to promote the language of engineering ever since – maths.”

Carol explained that the online maths school she had set up throughout the pandemic had managed to help 500,000 primary school children in the first lockdown.

She said: “Normally we would charge a subscription of about £1 a week but we made it free for all children for many critically important months.”

Carol added: “I’m very proud of our team and of all the work the children did through that time. I get young children coming up to me every week now and calling me ‘Aunty Carol’ and saying how they love maths.

“Even one of our @prideofbritain winners last week had been using the school and went from low set to top set in that time. I love teaching and I love to see children understand their numbers, and then love to see how they enjoy playing with them… numbers become their friends, not something to fear.

“I’m getting ever deeper involved with education and have been giving a lot for bursaries for young people to study engineering for a while now.

“Young people from a similar background to me… state school and on free school meals. Young people who may otherwise not get a chance.

“Life is good.

Someone else posted: “Congratulations well deserved. You are beautiful and magnificent dress. Much love and support always.”
