It’s that time of year again when I’m a Celebrity fans prepare to welcome a whole new series of celebrities on the hit ITV reality show.
With the global pandemic still interrupting filming the series in Australia, this year’s line up will return to Gwrych Castle in North Wales once again.
But fans have been told they can expect a whole host of more tantalising and troublesome trials as the Covid restrictions in the UK continue to relax across the nation.
And it’s fair to say that celebrities that choose to take part in the challenging three-week stay in the castle grounds can expect their online profiles to be raised significantly by the time the leave the show.
Looking back at some of the reality show’s previous winners, the former Kings and Queens of the Jungle have seen their careers skyrocket after their stint on the show.
But which winners have raked in the most cash from the reality show stint? A recent report from the Mirror Online has revealed which telly star earns the most money from social media platforms such as Instagram after their huge following online from the show.
Using research from Online Money Advisor, the publication analysed the celebs’ followers and used the formula that every follower is said to be worth £0.00313 to work out which star is “cashing in the most”
Vicky Pattison
At the top of the leaderboard is the 2015 Queen and Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, who has the potential to make the most money from Instagram.
If each and every one of her posts on the social media platform were sponsored, the blonde bombshell could earn as much as £15,188 per post with her massive platform of 4.8 million followers.
Her career took off since she stole the crown on I’m a Celebrity and went on to co-present the series of spin-off Extra Camp as well as take on Celebrity Hunted in 2018
Stacey Solomon
The mum-of-four has to be one of the fan-favourites to have won I’m a Celebrity since it first aired in 2002 as the star has catapulted her career and become one of the most sought-after celebs on the box.
After she took home the crown in 2011, Stacey went on to develop her music career which saw her launch her first and only studio album, Shy.
She was also welcomed onto the hit ITV daytime show Loose Women as a regular panellist alongside long-term stars Coleen Nolan and Kay Adams.
But her career didn’t just blossom on the silver screen as the auburn beauty has also won the hearts of the nation on Instagram which she has amassed a following of 4.8 million users online.
The loveable mum comes just short of Vicky’s figures online with the potential to earn £15,126 per post with her fiercely loyal followers on Instagram.
Jacqueline Jossa
A more recent winner to steal the hearts of the nation was Jacqueline Jossa who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2019 and has found a wave of success through her clothing range with fashion giants InTheStyle.
Similarly to Stacey Solomon, millions of users have tuned in to support the loving mum-of-two after her spell in the jungle after she shared her interior eye for decoration online.
In the two years since she returned to the UK from the secret location in Australia, the former EastEnders star has gone on to release several clothing lines with the online website in which she had a heavy hand in designing each collection on sale.
With slightly less followers than Stacey and Vicky, Jac comes in at a reputable third place on the leaderboard with 3.2 million supporters which the brunette beauty could cash in as much as £10,290.28 per post.
Scarlett Moffatt
Another popular winner of the challenge-based reality show is Scarlett Moffatt who first found fame through the Channel 4 commentary show Gogglebox.
In 2016, the starlet decided to leave the days on the sofa behind her as she ventured into the jungle down under alongside Welsh sweetheart Carol Vorderman and comedian Joel Dommett.
Since she won the show, Scarlett has also gone on to cp-present Extra Camp similarly to the former winner Vicky Pattison, as well as launch her own podcast with her partner Scott Dobinson.
The Channel 4 star currently boasts more than 2 million followers on Instagram which could earn her £6,405.63 per post.
Giovanna Fletcher
Giovanna is the most recent winner of I’m a Celebrity and the first contestant to be crowned the Queen of the Castle in North Wales.
The successful author and podcaster entered Gwrych Castle last year while her loving husband and McFly frontman Tom Fletcher, who is currently competiong on Strictly Come Dancing, kindly took care of their three children at home.
The loving mum has continued to write and produce podcasts after she left the castle grounds and has recently announced she will be starring in the stage production 2:22 A Ghost Story in the role of Jenny.
Her loyal legion of 2 million supporters on Instagram pegs her behind Scarlett with a predicted price of £6,260 per post online.
Joe Swash
The first male on the list to pull in the cash is Joe Swash who won I’m a Celebrity back in 2008 just a couple of years before his fiancée entered the show.
Since he left the jungle, the cheeky chappy has gone on to win Dancing on Ice last year as well as briefly return to the popular BBC One soap EastEnders to reprise his role as Mickey Miller.
The TV star is also engaged to his bride-to-be Stacey Solomon with their wedding originally set to take place earlier this year.
But their big day has been postponed after the happy couple found out they were pregnant and welcomed their loving daughter Rose just last month.
The doting dad has a strong 1.8 million followers on the social media platform, less than half of what his fiancée boasts, which could earn him £5,851.76 per post.
Georgia Toffolo
Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo became a popular fan favourite in 2017 after fans watched her fond friendship with fellow campmate Stanley Johnson blossom on screen.
After she stole the crown on the ITV reality show she went on to grab a regular spot on the morning chat show This Morning as well as appear on Celebrity Hunter and Celebrity Gogglebox alongside the political party member.
On Instagram the blonde bombshell boasts a whopping 1.8 million followers online which has the potential to earn her £5,6547.99 per post.
Harry Redknapp
Another popular winner on I’m a Celebrity is football manager Harry Redknapp who became King of the Jungle in 2018.
Since he left Australia, the sportsman has returned to his footballing roots where he took on a role at AFC Bournemouth in his spare time.
He also tried to branch out into the acting world when he featured in several episodes of EastEnders back in July this year in which he played himself in the brief cameo.
Harry currently has 1.4 million followers on Instagram, the same number of followers as his football son Jamie Redknapp, which could earn him as much as £4,423 per post.
Gino D’Acampo
The popular Italian chef Gino D’Acampo became the King of the Jungle in 2009 where his TV career truly flew on the silver screen.
After his time on I’m a Celeb came to an end, the TV star went on to try out a range of presenting roles alongside his popular cooking gig.
Now the brunette hunk is often found cooking on This Morning, as well as presenting Family Fortunes in his spare time outside of the kitchen.
In 2018, Gino teamed up with fellow TV chefs Gordon Ramsay and Fred Siriex for a road trip across Europe to taste and create a wealth of new recipes on air.
Outside of his work on TV, the Italian stallion hosts 1.3 million followers on social media which could bring in as much as £4,423 per post.
Kerry Katona
At the bottom of the list is the first-ever Queen of the Jungle in 2004 Kerry Katona, who has recently recovered from bankruptcy by creating a thriving OnlyFans account online.
Since her time on I’m a Celeb, the blonde bombshell has also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, re-joined her band Atomic Kitten and recently appeared in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins earlier this year.
Her 780,000 followers on Instagram means she could earn up to £2,442.75 per post online.
