Lady Gaga leaves co-star Adam Driver offended as she brands their sex scene 'quick'

Pop sensation Lady Gaga left her House of Gucci co-star Adam Driver slightly offended when the pair appeared together on BBC talk show The Graham Norton Show.

The pair were responding to host Graham’s comments about their sex scene, which he said was “one of the best sex scenes” he’d seen “in forever”.

“Who put that together?” Graham asked, as Lady Gaga and Star Wars actor Adam fist-bumped over the praise.

Graham hastily explained: “It’s not like they’re kind of prancing around naked, it’s just a really clever scene. Did you guys put that together, or did [director] Ridley Scott put it together?”

Lady Gaga explained: “No, we had nothing to do with that,” while exchanging a side-eye glance with Adam.

The star – who looked glamorous as ever in a tiny black dress with her blonde hair piled into a chic up-do – then wrestled with the hem of her dress, attempting to pull it further down her thighs as she quipped: “Excuse me, just trying to cover my universe over here!”

The group went on to kid about co-star Jeremy Irons, with Graham quipping: “Of course it’s not just the two of you in it!” as Lady Gaga interjected: “What, in the sex scene?!”

“Jeremy was particularly good,” Graham joked. “He was great.”

“He was behind the camera,” Adam chimed in.

But it was during a conversation about the stars’ Italian accents for the movie when things took a slightly salty turn, with Lady Gaga explaining that due to Ridley Scott’s ‘fast’ direction style it felt as though they were doing a play rather than shooting a film.

“For what it’s worth, Ridley shoots fast and he’s got four cameras going at any given time, if not more,” she explained.

“I wish not to sensationalise this thing, but I do wish to express gratitude to my fellow actor that I was on stage with every day,” she told Adam.

She then joked: “And it worked out for the sex scene, because it was quick.”

Adam pouted for the camera as the audience – and Graham – erupted into giggles and applause.

“It was just long enough!” he tried to reassure Adam.

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One and is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
