The Chase viewers were shocked to see a contestant on the quiz show that looked just like one of Britain’s best-loved radio presenters.
Fans of the show stormed to social media to put the likeness out there, with many commenting on how much Lynn, 55, looked like Zoe Ball.
The retired psychiatric nurse starred on Friday’s programme and took her best shot against Mark Labbett.
Many viewers took to Twitter, with one saying: “#TheChase What’s Zoe Ball doing on here?”
A second added: “Wow, that looks like Zoe Ball!”
While a third penned: “Zoe Ball lookalike on #thechase”
A fourth wrote: “Lynne – Poundland Zoe Ball .. #TheChase”
Another thought Lynn looked like a mixture of famous faces and said: “Goldie Hawn Zoe Ball Marianne Faithful Jo Wood Leslie Ash”
This comes after The Chase fans couldn’t help but point out the celebrity connection to hit singers Lily Allen and Craig David during the latest instalment of the hit ITV game show.
Bradley Walsh returned to the popular daytime show and welcomed Thursday’s group of quiz heads to take on the Chaser in order to bring home the cash prize.
But even the Governess Anne Hegerty couldn’t help but point out the comical connection between the latest line-up on the show.
As the contestants got comfortable in their seats, host Bradley introduced players Lilly, Alan, Craig and David to viewers watching at home.
Quiz champion Anne opened the episode asking: “Haven’t you noticed, Bradley, we have a very musical team?”
To which he puzzledly replied: “No,” as Anne went on to point out the connection to the chart-topping singers: “Lily Allan, Craig David.”
Bradley sighed as he rolled his eyes at the terrible joke on the show before he carried on with the show.
And it didn’t take long before fans took to Twitter to discuss the strange coincidence online.
One user penned: “Loving the 4 contestants name today: Lilly Alan, Craig David,” with five cry laughing emojis.
Another fan of the show added: “Lilly Alan Craig David. I see what you’re doing there, as a third pondered: “Lily Alan and Craig David on the show?”
Elsewhere, another viewer noted: “Lilly Craig and Alan David were a great folk duo from the 1960’s. Very clever from #TheChase production people.”
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm
