I'm A Celeb's Matty Lee 'can't wait' to meet campmates after being stuck in isolation

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Matty Lee has shared his excitement over appearing on the show – but mostly because he’s ready to finish isolating.

The Olympian has been hiding away in a luxurious cottage in Wales but recently confessed that he missed “human company”.

Taking to Instagram, the star notified his fans that this will be the last time they will hear from him personally before he hands his social media accounts to his management team.

Posting a picture of himself wearing his I’m A Celeb attire, Matty penned: “SO….it’s really happening! I am actually taking part in this year’s @imacelebrity and I can’t quite believe it!!”

“I’ve been stuck in isolation for 2 weeks so I can’t wait to have some human company!”

The star also reminded his fans that this will be the last message he will be able to personally post for now.

He added: “I actually drafted this message before our phones were taken away last night, so this post and all post from now will be done by my management. I have also recorded some videos while in isolation so the guys will be posting them in the next couple of days as well.

Earlier this year, Matty along with his diving partner Tom Daley made history when they achieved gold medals for their synchronised dive at the Tokyo summer Olympics.
