Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly arrive at Gwrych Castle ahead of I'm A Celeb 2021 launch

Ant and Dec have arrived at Gwyrch Castle for the latest series of I’m A Celeb, and it looked like they meant business.

The iconic presenting duo shared an exciting snap to fans which showed them standing on the set of the ITV show – Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales.

The Geordie hosts said that they were “holding the fort” until their celebrities arrive.

Taking to Instagram to tease their fans, they shared a snap which showed the pair smiling as they donned their black puffer jackets, underneath a wooden shelter lined with twigs.

Behind them, the old castle could be seen looking suitably ominous with illuminated windows in the distance.

Olympic gold-winning diver Matty Lee and Paralympic champion Kadeena Cox are also among the line-up.

It is also rumoured that EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt and Corrie actor Simon Gregson will join the camp at some point.

The show is taking place at Gwrych Castle for the second time running, rather than in the Australian jungle, due to coronavirus travel restrictions amid the pandemic.

Ant and Dec teased the return of the show themselves in a trailer which showed them donning medieval armour in the castle grounds.

In the latest video, the Geordie duo can be seen dressed as knights huddling around a campfire, with the pair looking freezing as they battle the cold weather.

The narrator in the clip said: “Two heroes shall brave the elements to ready the camp.”

Dec responded: “It’s a bit chilly”.

Ant said: “I can’t imagine anything colder?”

The trailer finishes with the pair running off after the heavens open in Wales.
