Shane Richie has forked out £91,000 on a luxury motorhome so he can kip between panto shows.
The EastEnders star, 57, took delivery of the top of the range vehicle in time for his stint treading the boards as Dick Whittington.
Shane will perform up to 12 times a week and having his comfy van on hand means he can get some shut-eye between matinee and evening shows at Wimbledon’s New Theatre.
A source to the Daily Star Sunday: “Shane lives about an hour or so away from the theatre so he can go home after the last shows.
“But there are several hours for him to kill in between performances.
“So having the van means he can get his head down and really rest up before he’s due on stage.”
Alfie Moon star Shane’s Carthago C-Tourer has a full-size double bed on board and en-suite facilities.
And he’s responsible for EastEnders pal Adam Woodyatt investing in a motorhome too.
Walford co-star Adam caught the touring bug after inspecting pal Shane’s splendid home on wheels.

Our source added: “Adam had been after a motorhome for years but was worried about the cost as the price tags can be huge.
“But he talked to Shane and fell in love with the idea.”
Adam – who is due to follow in Shane’s I’m a Celebrity footsteps – splashed out on a Carthago motor home of his own this month.
