Gordon Ramsay broke down in tears during Sunday night’s Strictly Come Dancing results show, as his daughter Tilly was booted off the show.
The tense dance-off came down to Tilly Ramsay and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin and Rhys Stephenson and his partner Nancy Xu.
But it was Tilly who was forced to leave the BBC show – with some fans fuming that BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, who has consistently scored low, is still in the show.
Speaking about her show exit, Tilly said: “I’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing, positive journey for me.
“From everyone here to backstage, wardrobe, make up and camera crew. It’s just been the most extraordinary time.

“I found out something about myself that I didn’t know I could do, I didn’t know I could dance and have fun like this.”
During her speech, Gordon could be seen standing in the audience to join in the ovation, wiping tears from his eyes.
He later took to social media to pen an emotional statement of his own for his daughter, which read: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of these 2, hard working polite humble and incredibly down to earth, most of all well done and what a celebration of youth and how happy it makes me feel.

“The future is bright and you 2 will continue to shine, lots of love dad.”
Tilly’s Strictly co-stars quickly hopped into the comments section to show her some much-needed love, with Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies writing: “She was absolutely incredible and you should be so proud!
“What an amazing young woman and an inspiration to young girls everywhere! What a journey!”
Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova posted: “What a beautiful young lady you are @TillyRamsay inside and out. You are a superstar.”
While I’m A Celeb winner Giovanna Fletcher wrote: “They’ve been wonderful on and off the dance floor!” with a row of love heart emojis.

It comes as fans have fumed Tilly was “sabotaged” during the dance-off, as her partner Nikita suffered a wardrobe blunder.
His shirt got stuck on his microphone wire, causing him to rip it off completely and discard it.
One Twitter user fumed: “The most embarrassing cringey dance-off ever when Nikita took off his shirt and backfired big time. Cost Tilly the competition. #strictly #SCD #dancingshirt”.
And another echoed: “Nikita did not need to take his shirt off for Tilly to do a good performance… in fact she nearly tripped over it #Strictly”.
However, the results show wasn’t the only time Gordon burst into tears with pride at his daughter during the weekend, as he was also spotted crying in the audience during Saturday’s show.
Taking to Twitter in explanation, Gordon urged fans to vote for Tilly as he penned: “Well done Tills! And yes it’s tears of joy!!!”
As Tilly prepared to head into the dancing show on Saturday, Gordon encouraged her: “Wishing these 2 beauties all the very best for their Samba tonight another amazing week of hard work and dedication, can’t wait to see you both later love you, dad.”
