Bosses at ITV have prioritised rebuilding and fixing up the set at Gwrych Castle after a storm ripped through and caused the show to go on hold following harsh weather conditions.
Viewers have been concerned about the status of the show going forward, but luckily the set is being mended and ITV has confirmed that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will continue on Tuesday night.
Photos of the set being fixed have emerged as white sheets have been placed around the area used for filming.
Cranes have gone in as workers get back to their repairs, and fans will be pleased to know that the new sea of celebrities will be back on their screens and taking part in the gruelling trials imminently.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly confirmed that the crew have been setting up for the return of the show as they posted a clip on their Instagram.
Dec said: “We’ve got great news. The team have worked around the clock 24/7 to get the site back up and ready and safe to carry on, and we can do! So tomorrow night, Tuesday at 9pm on ITV.”
Ant added: “Which means, we don’t have to present to this castle and these figures anymore.”
The duo were referring to their mini set which they have been posting on Instagram daily of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me In There!”
ITV released a statement confirming they were resuming filming as they wrote: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday, November 30) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show.
“Ant and Dec will be back presenting live from the Castle.”
The show will air a live public vote for a new trial during the episode, which Ant and Dec will reveal at the end of the programme.
Storm Arwen caused substantial damage on set which resulted in an initial delay of the show on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
In its place on Monday night’s schedule, Freddie and Jamie’s DNA Journey will air instead at 9pm on ITV.
Still in the competition is Snoochie Shy, Naughty Boy, Louise Minchin, Matty Lee, Frankie Bridge, Arlene Phillips, David Ginola, Adam Woodyatt, Simon Gregson, Kadeena Cox and Danny Miller.
Richard Madeley unfortunately left the show the day prior after falling ill following his Bushtucker trial.
