I’m A Celeb fans baffled as Snoochie Shy looks 'fresh' after messy slime trial

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left baffled and confused after Snoochie was seen looking fresh and clean after a gory slime trial.

The 29-year-old was smothered in thick brown gunge as she and campmates Matty Lee and Danny Miller tried to win treats for their campmates during a food challenge on the show.

Moments after the trial, which saw the trio try and keep three tables balanced with ropes while being covered in slime during the Lay It All On The Table task, the Radio 1XTRA DJ was seen un-plaiting her long braids seemingly gunge-free.

Baffled viewers questions that stars fresh appearance given that the campmates are only given basic washing facilities at the main camp in Gwrych Castle.

Viewers took to social media to post about their confusion:

“It’s gonna take Snoochie 40 days and 40 nights to get that slime out her braids,” a user commented.

“There is no way they don’t have proper showers after these tasks, Snoochie would never get that molasses out of her hair using that piddly shower #ImACeleb,” one person said.

Another questioned: “How come the celebs are coming back from trials clean this year?

“I’m certain they always used to come back covered in bugs and guts and then got a wash at camp.”

The gang managed to win 20 coins in the challenge, meaning the campmates were given extra treats after dinner.

As the Lords, newest campmates Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt had to decide what to spend the coins on.

They chose half a chocolate orange, biscuits and cheese, Biscoff biscuits and fruit pastels.

The controversy came just before the campmates were forced to evacuate the Welsh castle after a brutal storm forced ITV producers to halt filming.

Execs have yet to issue an update on when the show will return as fans fear the show may ultimately be forced to cancel.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “This is an ongoing live situation and we’re taking each day as it comes and working round the clock.

“Our priority is safely getting the whole site back up and running which means the show is back on air in the quickest time possible.

“We’re currently not in a position to confirm when we’ll be back on air but we’ll absolutely keep you posted when we get more updates.”
