A guest who appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show back in 2018 has undergone an incredible transformation after three years sober.
Former sex worker Michelle Wallace had been addicted to heroin for 20 years when she appeared on the show which she now praises for saving her life.
Michelle appeared on a segment of the programme labelled: “My prostitute sister blames our dad for her 20 year addiction”.
Appearing with dark brunette hair falling in a fringe over her forehead, Michelle was incredibly thin when she appeared on the show affected by drug use.
However, she now looks incredibly different, and has featured in a new glammed up photoshoot wearing an emerald green silk blouse, low-key silver bracelet and her recognisable hoop earrings from the show.
Michelle wore her now mouse-brown hair in gentle waves to her shoulders and opted for a glam make-up look with bright lipstick and volumous lashes for the snaps.
It comes as show psychologist Graham Stanier posted a statement from Michelle on his Instagram account, explaining how far she’s come since being sent off to rehab on the show.
She wrote: “This time three years ago was when the Jeremy Kyle team came to my flat in Walsall to do a recording of me in my flat.
“I was so frightened, I didn’t know what to expect. I had hit rock bottom, my flat windows were smashed through, it also looked like a crack den.
“My drug use was so out of control I had given up on life, I just wanted to die. I didn’t want to live anymore, I couldn’t live the life anymore, so I’m so blessed that my beautiful princess emailed the show as she knew her mom was in there somewhere.
“I just needed help, but I didn’t know where to turn. So I was on the way to Manchester hotel so scared but wanting this so much.
“I knew everyone would see my show and I didn’t care as that’s my story from the start of my journey to going to rehab on the 15/11/18 to what I’ve achieved today is amazing.
“I have no obsession to use anymore, I’m so at peace and free, I’m living my life today.”
It went on: “I couldn’t be any more happier with what I have in my life today. Having my family back – i’m a mom, nan, sister, daughter, auntie, cousin and it’s all thanks to me finding a solution and using the tools that’s put in front of me.
“I’m also coming up to [three] years clean on the 1/12/21 I ain’t took a drink or drug since. We can recover.
“I’ve got so much to look forward to as I’m getting married next April to the man of my dreams.”
Michelle’s statement concluded: “Thank you for everyone that believed in me, I put my hands up today for all the wrongs and people I’ve hurt but I make amends.
“Today I look at my part not blaming people cause I was so good at that, but I will never shut the door on my past cause that’s what’s made me the woman I am today.”
Graham couldn’t help but congratulate Michelle in his own post, writing: “Congratulations [Michelle]. Celebrating 3 years clean today. So deserving of a happy and healthy life.”
Michelle also added a post to her own Instagram account showing off her three-years clean token along with a video reel of family snaps, showing her with her grandchildren and looking completely transformed in various glam pics.
However, it isn’t the first time fans of the show will have seen Michelle clean, as she returned to the show to be reunited with her daughter in emotional scenes.
The two cried together as they embraced, with Michelle already looking markedly different to how she was before entering the rehab facility.
