I’m A Celebrity campmates have been spotted “breaking rules” as they were pictured walking outside the castle on Friday.
Five cast members were seen on the grounds of Gwrych Castle as they made their way to a trial, however, they had to break the show’s strict rules and leave the camp in order to do so.
The images show the stars being directed by crew members out of the premises as they wore their famous I’m A Celeb attire.
Viewers are usually not able to see the famous faces outside of the camp, as it is forbidden to leave while the show is being filmed.
Earlier this week, due to the aftermath of Storm Arwen the celebrity contestants were removed from the castle due to the “significant damage” that was caused to the set.
Strict covid rules also meant that celebs- including Louise Minchin, Naughty Boy and Arlene Phillips – had to remain in quarantine until filming could safely resume.
A statement from I’m A Celebrity read: “Whilst we get the production base back up and running after suffering technical issues due to the storm, we have removed the celebrities from the castle.”
ITV also confirmed that they had to remove two intruders during a security breach on the set during Storm Arwen.
On Friday night’s programme, Ant and Dec confirmed that David Ginola, Naughty Boy and Adam Woodyatt will be participating in Cells of Hell to win stars for the campmates.
Despite the show continuing as usual, I’m A Celebrity bosses have been criticised for not making the Bushtucker trials hard enough.
Compared to previous series of the popular ITV programme, the current celebs have managed to gain a high number of stars while taking part in their gruesome trials.
But many fans haven’t been too happy about this and have taken to Twitter to share their concerns.
One fan tweeted: “Is that deliberate so the celebs don’t have to struggle with food? No, we want to see the struggle, that is I’m A Celeb.”
A second said: “Apart from Richard Madeley’s trial, all the trials are too easy. There’s no tension or excitement in them!
Meanwhile a third added: “And why do Ant & Dec still continue to give instructions to contestants about where they should move their hand to find the star? Pointless!”
But the trials are not the only aspect of the show fans have been unsettled by as show bosses also received complaints that they were “too soft” on smuggler Simon Gregson.
The Coronation Street icon managed to sneak in salt and pepper into the camp, but was “let off” even though it is a breach of the programme’s rules.
