I'm A Celeb's Matty Lee says Naughty Boy 'turned his media thing on' during trial

Olympic medallist Matty Lee appeared to insinuate that producer Naughty Boy is playing up to the cameras while participating in the challenges on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!.

Matty and Naughty Boy were faced with another gruesome Bushtucker trial on Sunday night that saw them being gunged with several grim items and tuck into animal testicles.

But once the trial was over, Matty spoke privately to Emmerdale star Danny Miller back at camp and said Naughty Boy “turned his media thing on”.

He also insinuated that the music producer didn’t lift his weight during the trial.

The short exchange certainly caused a stir, with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One fan wrote: “Danny and Matty saying that naughty boy doesn’t actually act the same when the cameras are on. So he’s more so showing off to try and please us, well it’s not pleasing naughty it’s annoying.”

Another said: “We all get on here every night and say exactly what Matty said. But now it’s a problem because someone in the camp has spotted Naughty Boy’s act?”

A third viewer was upset that Matty blamed Naughty Boy for a loss of stars and said: “Why is Matty pointing the blame at Naughty boy when he was turned away when the coins came down??”

“Everyone having a go at matty for saying things about naughty boy when you’re literally saying things about naughty boy yourself??? you’re doing the same as him no. Like you don’t like naughty boy yourself why do you care that matty is calling him out,” a fourth added.

Matty and Naughty Boy managed to achieve six stars between them and still managed to have a sufficient meal.

The news comes after professional dancer Arlene Phillips became the first celebrity to be voted off of the show.

Speaking openly to Ant and Dec in her exit interview, the star explained that she did love being in the camp however she did find it hard.

The former Strictly judge also mentioned that the show taught her to be more fearless and to face challenges head-on.
