During an exclusive interview with Daily Star, reality television star Nicola McLean spoke to Daily Star reporter Carly Hacon about her opinions on this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, which has been labelled as one of the most uneventful series to date.
Discussing Frankie’s stint on the show, Nicola said: “I love seeing her personality because everyone thinks she’s this shy, retiring girl. She has overcome so many mental health issues, she is a strong cookie. I think it’s quite good to see her having a bit of banter.”
She continued: “Also, she’s married to a footballer, they all have so much banter. To be with a footballer you need to be really thick skinned, their personality is just to have banter with you constantly.
“I liked seeing her talking about her bum cast, I thought it was quite funny.”

The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge recently cast her posterior in bronze as a statue and present to her husband Wayne Bridge, who showed the Loose Women panelists on a recent episode and kissed it on camera.
When asked whether she would be up for making one herself, Nicola replied: “My friend did one of her boobs as a present to herself, but my bum? I wouldn’t do one, but definitely of my boobs.
Nicola also spoke about her thoughts on the rest of the campmates: “They’re boring me guys, they’re really boring me.

“Last night when they did the emotional stuff, talking about how much they loved each other, it felt like they hadn’t even been in there long enough to be saying all that.”
“They got taken out for a few days, it was off air for us, I just haven’t been as emotionally invested as I have been in previous years. No one is brilliant, it’s just boring. They’re boring people, bless them.”
“They’re all lovely people, they’re all very sweet, but it’s definitely going to go down as the most boring [series].”

Discussing Arlene’s eviction, Nicola said: “I would have only been upset if it was David, Frankie or Naughty Boy, but other than that you wouldn’t care. My husband called it, and from day one he said she would go first.
“She was the oldest ever camp mate to go in, looked fantastic but just not for her.”
When asked her future predictions for the next eviction, Nicola said: “Matty to go next. Sweet boy but he’s not bringing anything to the table.”
“Personally, Naughty Boy, David and Frankie to win for me.”
