Christine McGuinness is being coached to bare all with the help of Olympic medal-winning hurdler Colin Jackson.
The reality star, 33, will strip off on ITV’s Strictly The Real Full Monty this week, and her partner, Olympic medal winner Colin Jackson, 54, helped calm her nerves.
She said: “Thank God I was paired with Colin. He is so positive and happy.”
The show encourages people to get cancer checks. Christine lost an auntie to cancer and her mum was also diagnosed last year.
Christine announced that she would be taking part in the programme on Instagram last month, writing to her loyal legion of followers: “Finally I can ‘reveal’ what I’ve been up too! I am taking part in @itv ‘THE REAL FULL MONTY’ all in aid of cancer.
“This is a cause close to my heart, four of my aunties and most recently my mum have had breast cancer so I am beyond proud to be part of this amazing TV show working with an incredible cast and the most wonderful production @spungoldtvofficial raising awareness for cancer.”
She later revealed that she has even “cried” with Colin in the production process while penning an emotional tribute to her partner.
Taking to Instagram, Christine – who is married to Take Me Out star Paddy McGuinness – wrote: “I miss all of ‘The Real Full Monty’ cast and crew but especially my dance partner @colinrayjackson it has been a whirlwind couple of months, we have laughed and cried together.
“I can’t wait for you all to see this incredible show come together!. On @itv this December.”
Her fans – and co-stars – were quick to comment on Christine’s emotional post, as Demi Jones labelled the duo her “faves”.
Someone else added: “Can’t wait to watch it! I’m sure it will be fab!!”
While another fan echoed: “What a dream team!”
“Me and my friends came to the show. You were all amazing – so much courage and emotion. I cried with laughter and sadness. You all should be so proud. I can’t wait to watch it!” a third penned.
Joining Christine in the 2021 line-up are Love Island’s Demi Jones and Teddy Soares, EastEnders actress Laila Morse, former Strictly dancers James and Ola Jordan, and Blue singer Duncan James.
They’ll also be joined by Christine’s partner Olympian Colin Jackson, TV presenter Martin Roberts and Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards.
