GMB's Susanna Reid replaced by Ranvir Singh as viewers question whereabouts

Good Morning Britain viewers are missing Susana Reid who has not taken up her usual seat on the ITV show.

Susanna usually takes up the morning slot from Monday to Thursday with one of her co-hosts, but on Monday morning the fan-favourite left the job to Ranvir.

Viewers recognised that the host wasn’t sitting in her usual seat as eyebrows were raised regarding her whereabouts.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Has Susanna broke up for Christmas already?” Another wrote: “Susanna where are you today? Hope you are ok?”

Although Susanna’s absence wasn’t addressed on the show, speculation led fans to assume she could be relaxing on her Christmas break from today.

Susanna may usually sit in the hot seat Monday to Thursday, but during holiday breaks she usually takes the time off and spends it at home with her family.

With Christmas just around the corner, some fans have speculated that she could be away on her festive break from the show.

While some could deem the break early, it comes just after Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who host This Morning Monday to Thursday, confirmed they would also be taking a break from this week.

The pair confirmed their departure on Friday’s episode of This Morning as Holly said: “Welcome to very festive Friday. Don’t worry, you haven’t woken up on the wrong day; we are here on Friday.”

Meanwhile, Phillip confirmed they wouldn’t be back on screen until the new year.

It’s likely that Susanna will be doing the same thing and won’t return to her usual spot until January as she resumes her usual hosting duties, while Ranvir takes over the main spot.

Ranvir has joined Adil to quiz MPs on the Covid-19 vaccine as the duo welcomed David Lammy from the Labour Party on the morning show.

The duo were discussing vaccinations, lockdowns and Omicron with various guests on the show including Lammy, Dr Hilary and Sajid Javid.

The debate comes following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s most recent plea to urge the public to get their booster jab in a bid to save Christmas.

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am on ITV.
