Love Island’s Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank have split after four months together, the pair have confirmed.
In a joint Instagram post, Kaz and Tyler wrote: “We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship.
“We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us. We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way.
“We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each others careers.”
They added: “Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a new normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we’re learning.
“Thank you to every single person who has supported us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.”
Speculation surrounded their split last week, but the duo have now taken to Instagram to announce the news for themselves.
They have called time on their romance after four months of dating.
Kaz and Tyler came fourth place in Love Island and were one of the couples in the final group who were not in a formal relationship at the time of the vote.
In the Love Island reunion, it was revealed that Tyler had asked Kaz to be his girlfriend shortly after they left the villa and the pair embarked on a sweet romance.
While their coupling was widely supported by fans, it seems the pressure of being a couple in the public eye challenged the duo and they have now decided to continue their relationship as friends only.
The couple faced multiple challenges while they were in the villa, with Tyler bringing Clarisse Juliette back from Casa Amor shortly after he was getting cosy with Kaz.
He soon changed his mind upon his return and reunited with Kaz as the fan-favourite decided to take back her ex-beau despite his decision to recouple.
