Holly Willoughby 'can't get free' as she's stuck to make-up artist in hilarious blunder

This Morning star Holly Willoughby revealed she and her make-up artist had become closer than ever in one hilarious blunder.

The 40-year-old breakfast presenter joked about how she and This Morning’s make-up artist, Patsy, had become physically stuck together moments before going on-air, leaving the duo in a sticky situation and closer together as they were joined by the finger.

Holly said in one hilarious video: “So my nail fell off, and Patsy decided to glue it back on. They are my own nails, I’m having them done, and we are now attached to each other.”

The presenter shared the sticky encounter on her Instagram with a clip of her and Patsy joined by the finger as they attempt to break away from one another – leaving followers in hysterics.

She jokingly added: “It’s like a renaissance painting, and we actually can’t get apart.”

Joint by the finger, Holly and Patsy hilariously shared their nail blunder in an Insta video.

Pasty applied a small amount of glue solution onto a cotton bud and dabbed the centre where the duo had been conjoined – allowing the pair’s fingers to separate so that they could be free.

Holly could be heard shouting: “Yaaaay!” as she was separated from her make-up artist.

In the hilarious video blunder, Holly donned a festive red long-sleeved dress with an upper-necked collar, matching the Christmassy look with a fierce red lip.

Sharing the look with her 7.5 million followers on Instagram, Holly captioned the photo: “It’s CHRIIIIIISTMAAAAAS! Final day on @thismorning until Christmas Day… open the fizz! Dress by @masterpeace.masterpeace #12daysofsparkle.”

The mum-of-three addressed rumours that she plans to leave the show after working alongside her presenting partner Phillip Schofield for over a decade.

She said: “I feel very lucky to be on that show. The show changes so much, I think that’s the beauty of This Morning.”

Interviewed by Jonathan Ross on his eponymous talk show, she said: “I feel very lucky to be on that show. The show changes so much, I think that’s the beauty of This Morning.”

“I’m very lucky to work with Phil. I can’t imagine a world without him being there. It just wouldn’t be the same. The magic of that show is us two together when we’re together.”

“So no, I’m not retiring, that’s a really long answer.”
