Alan Carr makes sly dig at Phillip Schofield after steamy dance at Royal Variety show

Alan Carr had a cheeky pop at Phillip Schofield when he hosted the Royal Variety Performance for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Comedian hosted the star-studded annual event at London’s Royal Albert Hall – which aired to ITV on Sunday night (December 19).

The Chatty Man host had the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in fits of giggles with his stand-up routine – and at one point he roasted This Morning host Phillip Schofield.

Alan’s cheeky jibe came just after German balancing superstars the Messoudi Brothers finished wowing the crowd with their superb skills – and topless bodies.

The muscly stars made it to the semi-finals in Series 14 of America’s Got Talent –

Alan strutted onto the stage looking like a Baywatch hunk – and he was wearing a fake ab suit.

The chat show host struck a hunky pose with the acrobats – who pulled off some amazing stunts with their father, Said.

Alan gushed over the Messoudi Brothers

Alan quipped: “What can I say? I did a bit of Joe Wicks during lockdown – is that a crime?”

Wicks shot to fame last year for his beloved lockdown excercise videos for young people – which were styled like virtual PE lessons.

He then told the producers of Love Island to “call me” due to his sexy new ‘beach body’.

Carr then looked over at the act and pointed at the handsome father – telling him: “You are fit!

He added: “There’s a new silver fox in town – move over, Phillip Schofield.”, and the theatre burst out laughing.

The Messoudi brothers’ Facebook page reads: “Born in Australia to an English mother (Heidi) and a Moroccan father (Said), the Messoudi brothers are certainly among the most exotic young men you will ever meet.”

On his show, judge Simon Cow said of the relatives: “The minute you walked, you had that star talent in you, and you ticked all the boxes.”

The acrobats recently competed in Arab’s Got Talent Season 6 – and they reached the final in 2019.
