Rylan Clark admits wanting to 'punch' top actor after learning star bad-mouthed him

Television personality Rylan Clark has recently revealed that he once butted heads with a famous actor, but brought it up with him the next time they met.

33-year-old Rylan said that he overheard a major actor talking about him whilst he was filming for Alan Carr’s Chatty Man.

Rylan told The Sun: “Shortly after The X Factor I went on Chatty Man. There was a guest on the show who is quite a famous actor in this country and I could hear him slagging me off, going ‘Why is that idiot on the show? He is an absolute this and that’. I let it go, but I always banked it.”

The television presenter went on to say that he eventually bumped into the actor at the National Television Awards after he asked him for a favour.

Rylan went on to describe how he met the actor again at the National Television Awards in 2017. He said that the star approached him, told him he was a ‘big fan’ and asked for a picture together so that he could show his daughters.

The X Factor star revealed that he thought about whether he should punch the actor or pose for a quick snap for his girls, and decided to oblige.

But Rylan wasn’t quite finished with his encounter with the well-known star: “As I walked away, I turned around and said: ‘Mate, we have met before. On Chatty Man, in 2013 – do you remember slagging me off?’”

Rylan shot to fame after he appeared on The X Factor in 2012 which led to presenting jobs for big name shows like Big Brother and This Morning.

He has recently had his famous pearly white veneers removed after eight years in favour of a more natural look, but seems as though he can’t quite let them go.

He told MailOnline about his unusual plans for his old teeth: “I’ve still got them, they’re in a bag somewhere, I’m going to get them framed!”

The presenter was also recently kicked off the dating app Tinder after his profile was mistakenly identified as a catfish.

Rylan split from his husband back in July, but has claimed he hasn’t been searching for love and that the profile was a joke that his friend set up for him.
