Top Gear presenter Chris Harris was so posh his parents hid his presents in the sauna when he was a child.
He also admitted that he wore a velvet suit for his family’s festive lunch at their home in Buckinghamshire.
The former racing driver, 46, shocked his co-hosts Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness with the revelation.
Paddy gasps: “Oh my god. In the sauna? That is shocking. Who has a sauna in their home? We know who. Chris Harris.
“Little Lord Fauntleroy. I bet he ate pheasant and swan for Christmas dinner.”
Freddie adds: “I didn’t even know what a sauna was at that age.”
Poor Chris is not happy and tells them: “All of this is based on the fact I don’t talk like Vernon Kay.”
Meanwhile, it appeared the trio were getting into the festive spirt as they donned Father Christmas outfits in a preview clip for Top Gear: Driving Home For Christmas, which aired on Thursday on BBC one.
In the one-off special episode, the three presenters play “car Secret Santa” as they embark on an adventure across Britain over yuletide.
However, the threesome seem to hit a stumbling block with their master plan as they struggle to squeeze large Christmas trees into their vehicles.
And instead have great difficulty strapping the huge Spruce’s to the car roof rack.
Reading out a card, Paddy says: “Hang on, didn’t see this on the bottom.
“Now that you’ve got to grips with your warm up trees, time for the real thing which you will deliver to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath. Please treat this tree with care.”‘
In response, Freddie exclaimed: “What tree?,” then Chris remarked: “Look behind you.”
Freddie took one glance at the tree and replied: “No chance. Dear God. What do you do with that?”
Paddy interjected: “I don’t think we’re going to get that through there.”
“What are they thinking of?” fumed Chris.
