Ex-Dancing on Ice judge John Barrowman fails to appear in the trailer for All Star Musicals At Christmas despite being the host of the ITV show.
Celebrity contestants including Catherine Tyldesley, Fern Britton, Ben Miller, Anita Rani and Ben Miller all appear in the clip advertising the programme which will air this evening (December 26).
However, John doesn’t feature in the promotional video as rumours circulate that the channel plan to drop him once the final two shows air next year.
The Sun reported this year there were allegations he exposed himself on the sets of BBC’s Doctor Who and spin-off show Torchwood.
However, ITV have since said that there has been no decision made on “talent attached to the show”.
John told Lorraine Kelly on her ITV talk show last month that the claims were about “bawdy, silly behaviour” that happened 15 years ago.
It comes after Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse was confirmed as John’s replacement on ITV talent show Dancing on Ice.
The 31-year-old TV personality, who is known to fans for her incredible dancing ability, will join fellow judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean for the brand new series which kicks off in the New Year.
Speaking openly about her new position, Oti said: “As a professional dancer I have always had so much respect for the skating professionals on Dancing On Ice.
“It is an exceptional skill that is also so beautiful to watch. I’m feeling really enthusiastic about joining the panel alongside the legendary Torvill and Dean and Ashley.
“I can’t wait to see the celebrities thrive as they learn how to ice-skate and to champion the professional skaters as they create incredible choreography.”
Katie Rawcliffe, who is Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV also shared her excitement regarding Oti’s new role.
She said: “Oti is not only a supremely talented dancer and choreographer but she brings enormous fun and energy to all that she does. It’s fantastic to be welcoming her to our Ice Panel.”
