After Gavin and Stacey Melanie has reunited with her co-star Larry Lamb who played Gavin’s dad Mick Shipman for the TV series Pitching In.

Joanna Page, 44, who plays Stacey in the hit BBC programme has insisted the cast are eager to resume their roles.

She previously told The Sun’s TV Mag: “I think we all would, the whole of the cast would, because it’s such a joy to film and purely and selfishly just having a laugh together.

“Last time we thought it was completely and utterly over until we got a phone call from Ruth saying do you want to do a Christmas Special.

“So I haven’t heard anything at all, and I doubt that I will unless she phones me again to say fancy doing another special, or never phones about doing it!

“I have absolutely no idea if there will ever be another one or not.”
