The Masked Singer UK will launch on New Year’s Day and some bombshell clues about the whacky acts have been teased online already.
A video teaser shared on the official Masked Singer UK Twitter page have left many clues about the celebrities taking part in the upcoming series of the ITV sing show, which airs on Saturday.
From the video teaser, the clues so far include: a doughnut popping out of an oven, a rockfish singing out of a microphone and a giant panda walking in a field, to name a few.
Hosted by funny-man Joel Dommett, the third series of the whacky celebrity singing show will see a batch of 12 fresh celebs take centre spot and sing in disguise in a bid to keep their real identities hidden from the celebrity panel and viewers.
Series 3’s flamboyant acts include a bagpipe, a chandelier, a doughnut, a panda, a snow leopard and a traffic cone – with many fans guessing at who can be behind these garish costumes.
Another big tease sees a firework dancing in a Strictly Come Dancing style ballroom and a Rockhopper performing in a Circus tent – leaving many fans already putting on their thinking hats.
Each week, the show’s panel Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Rita Ora will be trying to work out who is behind the mask along with those watching at home as the contestants take to the stage to sing.
At the end of every episode, one contestant thrillingly will be unmasked and their true identity will be revealed.
The show’s host Joel has left fans feeling hyped for the new series.
He said: “There is one in particular and I couldn’t believe it.”
The comedian added: “It’s really cool, the first few reveals have been brilliant. I can’t believe that these people have stood next to me the entire time even though they are covered up.”
The second series of the show had seen the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Mel B, Martine McCutcheon have all been unveiled, with ‘Never Forget My Love’ Joss Stone winning the show as the sausage.
The Masked Singer UK begins on Saturday, 1 January 2022 at 7PM on ITV.
