Inside Danny Miller's life – 'lowest points', co-star snubs, million pound deals

Emmerdale star Danny Miller first graced the Dales 13 years ago in 2008, playing the show’s Aaron Dingle, known for his drama-filled thrilling storylines and bad-boy behaviour.

The 30-year-old star, who had left the soap earlier this year, rocketed on this year’s ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and was crowned this year’s champion – and is the current reigning King of The Castle.

Since walking away from the North Wales castle, Danny has found even more fame and success, as well as being tipped to secure some lucrative endorsement deals.

Away from the land of fame, the actor has also welcomed a new baby boy with his girlfriend, Steph Jones.

Daily Star delves deeper into her life outside of the soap, and his newfound success.

Before leaving the Dales in December, Danny Miller’s cast-mates stopped him as he left the Emmerdale set for the final time

In one video shared on his Instagram page, Lucy Pargeter, who plays his on-screen mum Chastity Dingle, runs over, with Danny opening his arms for a hug – he was instantly faced with rejection.

Lucy wanted to keep the coat that he wore on set before continuing to take it off him and ripping his name from the back of it.

In the same video, Cain Dingle actor Jeff Hordley then stopped and shouted Danny’s name.

With Danny thinking he might finally get his hug, he opened his arms again, yet, Jeff was in on the prank and also wanted Danny’s coat from Lucy, he said: “That’ll fit me that.”

Lucy then said to Danny: “I’ve heard the new guy’s really good” hinting that Danny’s character will be replaced, leaving Danny looking somewhat confused and looking into the distance.

Those who knew Danny found the funny side of the video, with his fiancée Steph Jones commenting: “Amazing!”

Fellow Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano commented three cry-laughing emojis.

During the start of the pandemic, Danny turned to social media to speak out about his ‘worst moments’ as he revealed that he was suffering from anxiety and depression.

On social media, he said: “Anxiety and depression grab you and shakes you no matter who you are or what walk of life.

“And I hope you read this post (and yes you may cringe) and see the bigger picture. Talk to someone. And allow someone to love you and love them in return.”

The three-time British Soap Award winner spoke of his gratitude to his partner Steph and their dog Gini, writing on social media: “I couldn’t have got through lockdown without these two little belters!”

“Truth is @stephjones1710 is the secret behind this black mirror of mine. She deserves the credit, entirely.”

Danny added: “We all show off our best moments on socials, never do we share the worst moments. But this girl has shared and carried some of the lowest points of my life over the last few months.”

Newfound fame and success

In the new year, it’s suggested that Danny will be a hit for marketing teams.

His role as Aaron on Emmerdale makes him very recognisable and his newfound I’m A Celeb fame has seen him grow an even bigger fanbase.

The star is said to have brand deals worth millions of pounds brokered by Danny’s friend Scott Thomas.

Scott, who appeared on Love Island, heads a Manchester-based PR firm and happens to be close pals with the businessman who runs popular clothing sites Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing.

Since leaving ITV’s I’m A Celeb, the King of The Castle is said to have a number of media interviews, endorsements and public appearances on the cards with the support of Scott – meaning he is set to bank some serious bank in 2023.

A source said: “He’ll come out of the camp to several big TV offers – he’s proved very popular. Scott is looking to work a number of angles for Danny, including speaking to the Kamani’s about getting Danny on the catwalk with Boohoo.”
