Fans of ITV’s The Chase couldn’t believe what they were witnessing after a player appeared to make a fatal decision that cost herself and her team thousands of pounds.
Confident Lucia came on the show with a habit of answering questions at a rapid speed when presenter Bradley Walsh fired them at her.
She also did very well for herself when faced with chaser Jenny Ryan in the second round.
However, when presented with a push back in the final, Lucia seemed to think she knew more than her fellow team members Martin and Jayesh and appeared to override their decision on an answer. But unfortunately, she got it wrong.

Taking to Twitter, fans couldn’t wait to air their views on the contestant.
One fan wrote: “Nah I love it when people say the correct answer and another player overrules it, the drama.”
Another viewer commented: “Lucia thinks she’s the smartest person in the room. She’s playing the game like I do in my living room.”
A third chimed: “Lucia doing her own thing. And going home with F**K ALL!”

“Lucia sabotaged the bag, I’d be pi**ed,” a fourth added.
But this wasn’t the only complaint that fans had regarding Lucia’s performance, as she appeared to answer questions quickly but also had a few incorrect answers in her cash builder round.
“Lucia gets the answers wrong in record time,” one person Tweeted.
Another wrote: “Lucia giving quick wrong answers.”

While a third said: “Your quick – 75% wrong.”
During the final segment on the show, the team were certainly unlucky as chaser Jenny caught up with the team and beat them with only seconds to spear. Which meant they lost out on £16,000.
Although many seemed happy that Jenny caught them, some fans couldn’t help but mention Lucia’s fatal blunder yet again.
One fan tweeted: “Lucia on #thechase was a very arrogant player. Very pleased to see her lose. She was told answers by her team mates and then took it upon herself to give different answers. Unlucky to the lads, but Lucia got what she deserved.”
But another was more understanding and penned: “Lucia is an absolute treasure – not easy to actually have the balls to go on #TheChase #ArmchairQuizzers.”
