Things turned quite frosty during the latest episode of Loose Women after panelists Brenda Edwards and Coleen Nolan clashed over Christmas Dinner invitations.
On Tuesday, Brenda explained to her co-stars Ruth Langsford and Gloria Hunniford that her festive dinner was ruined on the big day and she wasn’t invited to have a meal with Coleen despite only being an “hour away”.
However, when hearing Brenda’s frank admission Coleen was certainly having none of it and labelled her a “liar”.
But Brenda also barked back too when she heard Coleen giggling at her misfortune and asked her abruptly “why you laughing?”

When speaking to Coleen about her Christmas and New Year’s experience, Ruth asked Brenda: “When we all saw each other on Christmas Eve, you said maybe I’ll go to Coleen’s for Christmas.
“Because you were working, and you only had the one day off?”
Brenda replied: “Yeah, I was only an hour away, and she didn’t invite me…”
To which Coleen interjected: “You are such a liar!”
Explaining her side of the story, singer Coleen expressed: “I phoned her, no – I text her and I put ‘Where are you?’ and she put ‘I’m back home.'”

Brenda chimed: “Which part of ‘where are you?’ is ‘can you come round, do you want to come round for Christmas dinner?'”
Giggling at her jibe Coleen said: “Well because, listen, because when you said, ‘I’m back home’, I thought phew, I don’t have to invite her!”
But Brenda appeared to look unimpressed by her admission and turned to Ruth and asked: “Do you see what I mean?”
Coleen then added: “If you’d have said ‘I’m in Blackpool’, I would have said, ‘I’m on my way up, come back!'”

Brenda joked: “I starved, I starved!”
Explaining the Christmas calamities she exprienced, Brenda informed the Loose Women ladies of everything that went wrong on the day while telling them about her frozen turkey.
While talking about the issues she faced, Coleen could be hearing sniggering in the background.
Brenda then snapped: “Why (are) you laughing, why (are) you laughing though?”
Former X Factor star Brenda continued with her story and let her the ladies know just how bad things had become on Christmas Day for her and her family.
She explained: “I took it [turkey] out the night before Christmas Eve to season it up, so it would be ready for Christmas Day.
“Got to London, and it was still frozen, so I couldn’t season it up, and I forgot I took out the stuff, the breakfast stuff.
“Left it in the apartment on the side in a bag ready to take, forgot to take it, got distracted!”
