The Apprentice millionaire swapped designer lifestyle to sleep on sofa in council estate

The Apprentice 2022 star Navid Sole is a celeb-obsessed millionaire’s son who has dropped a whopping £20k on lavish holidays and thousands on designer clothing.

But the TV star was given a “reality check” after starring on Rich Kids Go Skint.

The 27-year-old is one of the 16 new candidates on the BBC show hoping to gain a £250,000 investment into his business idea and a 50/50 partnership with Lord Alan Sugar.

But a far cry from the swanky Apprentice pad, in 2019 Navid appeared on a very different show indeed, as he left his “designer bubble” lifestyle in the dust.

On the Channel 5 show, Navid slept on a sofa for two nights on a council estate in West London to live with a family of three as he starred on the Channel 5 show.

Navid is a reality TV veteran

The reality star definitely likes the finer things in life and isn’t afraid to “splash the cash”, as he showed off his designer multimillion pound home and designer bedroom – including a Versace bedspread – on the Channel 5 series.

Hoping to “try and understand different ways of living,” Navid headed to the “less privileged” lifestyle of the council estate and explained he was “nervous and going through mixed emotions,” as he left his private maid and designer goods behind.

Navid – who enjoys luxury holidays, flying first or business class several times a year – also loves to wear designer brands such as Gucci, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana.

And on Rich Kids Go Skint, the upcoming Apprentice star left the family he was staying with speechless after he revealed he had never cooked before , as he had a “helper” at his family home.

When given tasks including going out to a market to buy a weekly shop for the family, he described the situation as his “worst nightmare.”

In another hilarious clip, Navid could be seen washing up for the first time as he says: “Yuck, my hands feel so weird and yucky.”

While cleaning the dishes he jumped away from the worktop, terrifying of dirty water landing on his designer trainers.

“I don’t want to ruin these shoes,” he explained.

Navid admitted the family who showed him a different way of living “made me become more independent and given me a reality check.”

Day to day, Navid now works as a pharmacist and is looking to use Lord Sugar’s money and expertise to create a successful pharmacy business.

The BBC contestant is also obsessed with pop superstars like Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora and Taylor Swift.

His social media is full of selfies with several famous faces, as Navid attends concerts and regularly spends up to “£4500 on VIP meet and greet packages.”

The Apprentice is due to start on Thursday, but it is not Navid’s first time starring on a BBC show.

Navid had a rather embarrassing time on BBC’s Eating With My Ex back in series two.

Sitting down for dinner with “ex-girlfriend” Charlotte, she awkwardly told him: “I never saw you as a boyfriend.”

After a few moments of silence, Navid replied: “I genuinely thought we were in a relationship.”

Viewers of the show were treated to a delayed dumping that left Navid “flabbergasted”.

Charlotte explained to Navid that she wasn’t “sexually attracted” to him, nor had they ever kissed or held hands.

The Apprentice continues Thursday on BBC One at 9pm
