Skins star Kaya Scodelario gives birth to second child with husband Benjamin Walker

Actress Kaya Scodelario has confirmed that she has given birth to her second child with partner Benjamin Walker.

The 29-year-old who shot to fame as troubled teen Effy Stonem in Skins, has announced the safe arrival of her newborn baby.

Along with the happy news, came an adorable picture of the actress cradling her bundle-off joy in white towel and a mint coloured hat.

In the snap Mum, dad and tot were still at the hospital, with the actress wearing the signature blue and while gown while boyfriend Benjamin was shown donning scrubs.

Kaya could be seen glancing lovingly at her new addition while dad proudly smiled for the camera.

The brunette captioned: “You made it here little one! Starting the new year with so much love in our hearts & in our home. Plus poop and puke, lots of that too.”

Back in September, the Skins alum took to Instagram to confirm her pregnancy and that she’d entered her third trimester.

Kaya explained that she had originally wanted to reveal that she was expecting her second child with a professional photograph but told fans that hadn’t gone to plan.

She penned: “I tried to set up one of those beautiful pregnancy reveal pictures with the meadow and the golden sunset and the hay and the puppies and the perfectly put together BoHo outfit and flowing natural hair with baby chicks nesting in it but then I realised that IM WAY TOO tired, achey and lazy right now.”

The Maze Runner movie star added: “So here’s me pulling an awkward face in the mirror whilst wearing makeup for the first time in six months instead.”

The Brazilian-British actress began dating her husband Benjamin during the filming of the movie The Kings Daughter in 2014.

It was quite tough on the pair at first because Kaya was living in London while her beau had been based in New York.

After giving their long distance romance a go, the mum-of-two decided to join her future husband-to-be – with the pair saying ‘I do’ in 2015.

Just one year later, the happy couple took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their first born son.
