Holly Willoughby set for more time off This Morning to star in new BBC programme

Holly Willoughby is set to take two-and-a-half weeks off from This Morning, with ITV bosses allowing her to film a new BBC programme.

The 40-year-old presenter will be jetting off to Southern Europe on January 17 to star alongside comedian Lee Mack, 53, as the co-host of Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival, according to The Sun.

This will happen the day after she appears on the launch episode of Dancing on Ice, with Holly set to co-host ITV’s Sunday night prime-time dance show alongside Phillip Schofield, 59.

She will also fly back to the UK on weekends and continue to appear alongside Phillip for Dancing on Ice.

This news came after Holly shared a cryptic message with her fans regarding “new beginnings”.

The star is currently still enjoying some time away from This Morning, and fans were expecting Holly and Phillip to return last Monday.

However, they were replaced for the week by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

It has since been confirmed that Holly and Phillip will return to the show tomorrow, January 10.

Holly shared an Instagram post that read “maybe it’s time to press pause” as she enjoyed the last few days of her holidays.

Clearly in a reflective mood, Holly captioned her recent snap with: “New year… new beginnings… maybe it’s time to press pause, jump of the treadmill, stop running and hiding and sit with yourself.

“You are your one constant… get to know who you really are, what you like, what your passions are… writing this book was a real process for me… it had to be written and I feel the benefit…hope you enjoy it too … link in bio #reflections.”

Holly released her first book titled Reflections last year.

The mother-of-three also recently teased fans by posting a rare snap into her A-lister lifestyle as she enjoyed a relaxing and therapeutic pedicure at home.

In the cheeky Instagram post, Holly joked that her beautician had a “little helper” after her adorable dog Bailey sat beside her – hinting that her pooch paws were next.
