Emma Brooker is worried about the investigation

Craig is unaware that Faye and Emma hit pensioner Ted (Duggie Brown) in their car on New Year’s Day.

Ted later died at his home and Faye and Emma have been trying to keep their involvement under wraps since.

Faye and Emma have been left left deeply unnerved by the situation, particularly after finding out that Craig’s team are investigating the death of the pensioner.

He told friend Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) they are treating the death as suspicious as he had extensive bruising on one side of his body, so they don’t believe he died at home.

Will Faye go back to prison?

Faye and Emma bickered over whether they should turn themselves in, with Faye refusing to admit to the crime.

But if Craig puts the pieces together themself and realises his girlfriend’s involvement, the decision may not be hers to make, particularly if he notices the initials are the same as the dead pensioner’s.

If Craig decides to put his career before their relationship, he could end up reporting Faye to his superiors.

Craig and Faye reunited just before Christmas after Faye was released from prison for attacking Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).

Will Faye and Emma get punished for their involvement in Ted’s death?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV
