Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse have begged Gemma Collins to make a return to Dancing On Ice for an All-Star series of the show.
The judging panel duo have been gearing up for the launch of the latest series of the hit ITV reality show this Sunday (January 16).
They couldn’t wait to name Gemma when asked who they would love to see take part in the competition as part of their dream line-up.
Diversity leader Ashley, 33, was particularly excited at the prospect of seeing the TOWIE star make her return to the rink as he enthused over the possibility.
Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing star Oti, 31, suggested that there was a clear way for Gemma to return to Dancing On Ice – if they held an All-Star series.
Speaking to Daily Star and other press, Oti said: “I would like to see Alesha Dixon – don’t know why I would just like to see her come on and we know she can dance.”
Ashley then chipped in: “I was gonna go all out there and say the return of Gemma Collins.
Oti enthusiastically suggested: “An All-Stars series!”
Ashley continued: “Why not? she was actually so entertaining I really likes seeing Gemma on the ice.”
Dancing On Ice host Holly Willoughby set her sights a little higher for her dream contestant, aiming for Hollywood with her suggestion.
She said: “I remember last year for the very first time Lady Leshurr came and did a bit of singing so I quite like that combination of singing and skating.
“So someone like J-Lo would be great (with) one of those amazing performances but on the ice.”
And their fellow judge Jayne Torvill suggested a sporting legend we would probably all love to see grace our screens in spandex weekly for her top pick.
She said: “I always say David Beckham, but he’s probably busy.”
Dancing On Ice returns this Sunday, January 16 at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
