Emily Andre battling 'horrible' health issue just days after Katie Price's scathing rant

Emily Andre has spoken out about her recent health issues and has admitted that she has been suffering for the “first time in ages”.

The 32-year-old junior doctor, who is married to popstar Peter Andre, mentioned that she has been battling migraines since she returned to the UK.

She said: “A few days after getting back from Dubai, I had the first migraine I’ve had in ages. I’d almost forgotten how horrible having a migraine is!”

“They used to make me vomit and lose my vision in one eye, which was awful. I’ve tried all sorts of treatments in the past from my GP, but the thing I’ve found which has made such a difference for me, is having Botox across the top of my forehead.”

“It’s not quite clear how it helps with migraines, but it can be given in the forehead, above the ears or even in the neck”.

Peter’s ex-wife Katie Price has recently slammed Emily, accusing her of exploiting Katie’s children despite claiming she wants to stay out of the limelight.

The mother of five took to social media to write: “My mouth has been shut for so long but I’ve had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so-called woman Emily.

“[She] always said ‘I don’t want to be famous’, yet doesn’t do too bad to stay away from media and TV and [is] now trying to make a career out of it. So cringe.”

Emily and Peter’s rep declined to comment when approached by Daily Star.

Mother-of-two Emily recently appeared on Loose Women via video call to discuss her new book Growing Up For Girls.

Host Christine Lampard welcomed Emily to the show and asked her why she felt “compelled” to write the book, aimed at children aged nine and above.

Emily replied: “It’s a funny thought when you think.

“All adults have gone through puberty but yet it’s still something that can be awkward and difficult to talk about.

“Having gone through it myself and some of the challenges I had, made me think maybe it’s a good thing to write about.”

“Whether it’s for kids to read, to answer some of their questions, or whether it’s a bridge between children and parents.”
