Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn has issued a public plea and begs sister to call her

Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn,30, has taken to Instagram to issue a public plea for the Toxic star to contact her over their public feud.

The 40-year-old pop icon, Britney, had accused her sister of not being supportive during her 13-year-long conservatorship battle.

Jamie Lynn had recently appeared in a sit-down interview on Good Morning America.

After Britney had called her out and branded her as ‘scum’, Jamie had taken to Instagram and urged her sister to contact her.

She started with: “Britney – Just call me, I have attempted many times to speak to you directly and handle this privately as sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform,”

“In the meantime, please stop continuing the narrative that I haven’t been there for you or that I’m making things up.”

She added: “I’m happy to share how many times I’ve reached out to you, supported you and tried to help you.”

Jamie wrapped up her public plea and said: “This is embarrassing and has to stop. Love you.”

The Baby One More Time star has yet to respond publicly but has previously raised that she loved her sister unconditionally despite their complicated relationship.

Britney said: “I said some harsh things because you obviously hurt me by the things you are making up about me!!”

She added: “All I know is I love you unconditionally!!! So go ahead and say whatever you want… it’s so tacky for a family to fight publicly like this!!! You say you love me… yet your loyalty is still with the people that hurt me the most!!!

In Jamie’s book, Things I Should’ve Said, it tells the story of her life and career with aspects explaining what her relationship is like with her big sister.

In the book, she describes her sister’s behavior as “erratic,” “paranoid” and “spiraling” before her public breakdown in 2008.

Jamie raised that she was “happy” when Britney’s conservatorship had ended.
