Baffled BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker slammed his studio on air after his show suffered a technical blunder.
In fact, Dan was quick to call it one of the worst montages he’d seen on his programme as his segment took a chaotic turn.
BBC presenters Dan Walker and co-star Sally Nugent tried to deliver a segment on Wolf moons, but it all went horribly wrong when their moon montage couldn’t keep up with their script.
It came after Brits viewed the first full moon of 2022 on Monday night – also called the Wolf moon.
Introducing the segment, Dan said: “If you were looking up in the sky last night, you might have spotted a rare spectacle.
“It is the first full moon of the new year – the Wolf moon.”
However, Dan soon broke his presenting composure when a large photo of the moon appeared on the screen and he started laughing at the large lunar photos.
He went on: “There he is. A clear display across the world,” before giggling.
Sarcastically, he quipped: “Just in case you’re wondering, that is the moon…”
Sally started laughing too as the TV duo attempted to rescue the segment.
Continuing the commentary, Dan tried to explain the photo before a new moon snap appeared on the screen and he lost his place.
Admiring the golden moon, he said: “Alice’s spectacular view in Shrewsbury… Oh hold on, it’s moved on!”
At this point, Dan was struggling to keep in time with the moon pictures, and it all got a bit much.
Addressing studio for help, Dan asked: “We’ve also had… have we had south east London already?”
He later realised that it was from south east London as Sally confirmed it.
Dan said: “Thank you for that, Elizabeth.”
Sally went to pick up where Dan left off, saying: “Here we go, check this one out.”
Unfortunately things got worse, because the same golden moon snap was still hovering on the screen.
Sally said: “This is from June near Bolton. I think that’s the same picture.”
Dan asked: “In June or is it June?”, to which Sally answered: “That was from June?”
He later said: “I think that’s one of the worst moon montages we’ve ever had on this programme, but thank you very much for your photographs.”
