Ulrika Jonsson has opened up on her “wild and electrfying” love life as she joins the cast of Celebs Go Dating.
The 54-year-old television presenter and model has revealed that she enjoyed an intense period of online dating last year.
Despite describe it as “spontaneous and vibrant”, Ulrika failed to find her Mr Right.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “Much of my dating was utterly soul-destroying, but I enjoyed some pretty wild, spontaneous, impetuous, vibrant, electrifying times.
“There was passion and filth and I even managed to nearly have my heart broken, but dodged the bullet at just the right time.
‘All those months of dating experiences — my little ‘sexpedition’ — may not have led me to the next Mr Right but they taught me that three-and-a-half years post-divorce, I really would like to have someone in my life.”
It comes after Ulrika wants to be “laughed into bed” as she opened up about what type of man she’s looking for in the world of dating.
She continued that she’s looking for someone that “enhances” her life but who isn’t looking for marriage or kids.
On Wednesday’s instalment of Loose Women, the Celebrity Big Brother winner opened up about her dating experiences on the matchmaking show.
She told the all-female panel: “Recent ones, I’ve only really had dates, I guess, I’ve not had a relationship with anybody – but the dates have been a little younger, yes.
“They didn’t know I was Ulrika Jonsson, which was great.”
“That’s the dream, to have someone just take you for who you are. I guess the youngest was 26. So yeah 26, 30 ish.”
Ulrika is among the latest group of celebrities looking for love on the E4 dating show.
Other stars who will be appearing on the programme include The Apprentice star and Daily Star columnist Ryan-Mark Parsons, TOWIE star Chloe Brockett, Made in Chelsea alum Miles Nazaire, former Five rapper Abz Love and MAFS UK’s Nikita Jasmine.
