Dancing On Ice’s Rachel Stevens has returned to the rink after a surprise recovery from a painful wrist injury, which will see her miss her debut on the show on Sunday evening.
The former S Club 7 singer turned skating star pulled out of performing her first skate on Dancing On Ice in a bid to recover from a fracture, but has now been seen skating up a storm on the ice.
The 43-year-old bombshell suffered a painful wrist injury during training in December, so decided to pull out of her first skate.
She has now been pictured back in rehearsals for the ITV show, and was seen with her professional skating partner Brendyn Hatfield, 36, over the weekend.
The singer opened up to The Sun on Sunday, where she explained that she was happy to be back on the ice and “more excited than nervous”.
Speaking to the publication she revealed that her skating partner Brendyn “has created a wonderful routine” and she “can’t wait to perform at last”.
On Saturday night, the singer even felt well enough to head out on a lavish “date night”, as she dubbed it, on Instagram stories.
Taking to the photo-sharing app, Rachel posted a gorgeous set of snaps documenting her date night which was with with her husband since 2009, Alex Bourne.
Rachel’s return to the rink and lavish date night all came after the stunning star resolved a row with her 75-year-old dad Michael, who she had been estranged from for 10 years.
Rachel fell out with her dad when she found out that he had written a guide to London’s best call-girls.
At the time of the feud, her dad dubbed the singer a “total a******e” and said that he wouldn’t care if he never saw her again.
He added that she was a “stunningly beautiful girl” before adding: “That’s about all she is. She’s so selfish.”
The publication has now revealed that Rachel’s step mother Kristina, 52, has said: “Rachel and Michael are back together again now.”
She added that the family of 18 are all on good terms again, and that they are all hoping Rachel does well on Dancing On Ice.
Dancing on Ice continues Sunday night at 6.30pm on ITV
