EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy looks completely unrecognisable to her soap character Sonia after she got all glammed up for a night out.
The soap star revealed she was off out to “party” for her younger sister Ellia’s 30th birthday.
The 38-year-old who is best known for playing Sonia Fowler since first appearing in Walford in 1993, got all glammed up for the night.
She took to Instagram to show off her new look to her fans as she explained she was “ready for a little party.”
The actress styled her hair down in loose curls which is very different to her character who often slicks back her hair and wears oversized jumpers.
Natalie opted for a low-cut black dress, a large black necklace to match and completed the look with a full face of glam make-up including mascara, eye liner and lip gloss.
Speaking in a video she said: “Oh, I thought it was a photo. Off to celebrate Ellia’s birthday tonight. Got all glammed up, all dolled up, haven’t I?
“You know what I mean? I’m ready for a little party!”
She shared a photo to her 168 thousand followers posing with her sister Ellia.
In the caption she explained what an “unbelievable creature” her younger sibling is.
She said: “Without her in my life, it would be grey and dull. What an absolute cracking human being. We laugh, we get impatient, we drink, we sing, we cry, we take the utter p*** out of people and she is the funniest person I have ever met.”
Recently, Natalie revealed she is “the proudest mum alive” as she gushed over her eldest daughter who had taken part in the Junior Great British Break Off.
She penned alongside a snap of her 10-year-old: “This is Eliza. She was 10 and decided to enter for the Junior Bake Off.
“I said, oh Eliza, you’ll never get through, thousands apply and I don’t want you to be disappointed. She got through.
“Her confidence, determination and maturity has blown me away. I am proud of my daughters everyday. But to watch one of them be so kind and helpful to others in the tent every night this week, has made me the proudest mum alive.”
Natalie went on to explain that her being on Bake Off had “nothing to do with me whatsoever” which is why she hasn’t “said much about it.”
She concluded: “My advice to all. When your child wants to do something don’t stop them. Dreams do come true.”
Natalie is mum to Eliza with her former boyfriend Adam Cottrell and also Joanie with her husband and EastEnders cameraman Marc Humphreys.
