Holly Willoughby’s Instagram fans were dismayed by the latest item in her Wylde Moon jewellery collection.
The This Morning presenter, 40, shared several photos of herself wearing some of the pieces from the collection.
She wore a slinky black gown with an elegant black heart necklace around her neck, and suggested the piece would make the ideal Valentine’s Day gift.
She wrote: “Which piece from the @wyldemoon x @kirstielemarque jewellery collaboration will you fall for this Valentine’s Day…”
Even though her fans loved the jewellery, many were dismayed by the price.
On Holly’s lifestyle website, which she launched last October, a 12-piece selection of jewellery in collaboration with designer Kirstie Le Marque, is available for sale, including the £295 diamond and black onyx heart she was promoting.
Other items for sale include a £450 diamond crescent moon and stars pendant and £495 diamond and moonstone earrings, while a somewhat cheaper item is a pair of diamond and moonflowers studs costing £100.
Holly was also sporting a bracelet featuring a stunning black heart, which costs £250.
One fan commented: “Sorry, we don’t have your money!”
Another said: “I absolutely LOVE some of these pieces in your collection – just too expensive.”
A third agreed, writing: “Far too expensive Holly sorry we don’t have your money!”
A fourth fan said: “It’s all gorgeous especially the moon and star necklace. Just way too expensive for the average person to buy.”
Several fans still praised the various pieces.
One said: “The whole collection is gorgeous, but the diamond and blue enamel crescent moon necklace will always be my fave.”
Another wrote: “Absolutely gorgeous!”
Holly recently spoke to Grazia magazine about her brand, Wylde Moon, saying: “The moment that I launched Wylde Moon, the word ‘wacky’ got used a lot. I expected that. And that’s fine. I can’t change that.
“I’m not here to force any of this on anybody. It’s not ‘come and meditate with me’ or ‘look at the moon and play a sound-bowl’.
“It’s please go and do that thing that makes your heart sing. Go and do you.”
